What Is GEt STarted™?

Get Started™ is an opportunity for emerging startups to showcase their business and pitch to investors and industry leaders. $25,000 in cash will be awarded to the overall winner. Additional cash and in-kind prizes will be awarded to the winner of each industry track in the Startup Showcase.

CALL FOR STARTUPS

We are looking for startups that have raised less than $1 million in funding and generated less than $1 million in revenue to pitch a panel of judges and the Get Started™ audience of business executives, entrepreneurs and investors.

Startups will be selected for one of the following Industry Tracks:

  • Healthcare and Education

  • Manufacturing, Transportation and Logistics

  • Food and Agriculture

  • Energy, Natural Resources and Real Estate

  • Technology and Financial Services

PROGRAM TIMELINE

  • October 15, 2021: Applications Open

  • November 18, 2021: Get Started™ — Virtual Pitch 1

    • Application Deadline — November 10, 2021

  • December 30, 2021: Get Started™ — Virtual Pitch 2

    • Application Deadline — December 20, 2021

  • February 10, 2022: Get Started™ — Virtual Pitch 3

    • Application Deadline — January 28, 2022

  • February 21, 2022: Application Deadline for Get Started™ — Startup Showcase and Startup Pitch Competition

  • March 4, 2022: Invitations Extended to Accepted Startups

  • April 6, 2022: Get Started™ — Startup Showcase and Startup Pitch Competition in Omaha, NE

PRIZES

The winner of each industry track will be invited to the Startup Pitch Competition shortly after the conclusion of the Startup Showcase.

All participants in the Startup Pitch Competition will receive equity-free grants of cash and in-kind awards.

The overall winner of the Get Started™ Startup Pitch Competition will receive an equity-free grant of $25,000!
